how many times have you thought
it's too late
you're too old
the ship has sailed
you're stuck
you have to stay this way

but why

your neighbour might be surprised
your coworker might say something
your family might disapprove

maybe they will

but is it really so scary
that you’d rather put your own life aside

there is no deadline
for becoming who you want to be

you can change your mind
direction
yourself
every single day

you don’t have to stay loyal
to decisions you made years ago

you can choose again

you can always start over
